REVIEW: Manaconda by Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliott

ManacondaManaconda by Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliot is part one in a two-part story. Just to clarify…it ends in a cliffhanger…but the good news is that part 2 is already out!

Hunter Jordan is a rock star whose lower appendage is the talk of the town. Everyone is now calling him Manaconda after being on the cover of Rolling Stone, which may have highlighted his impressive size. Women everywhere want a piece of him! He’s getting so much attention that a PR person is being called in to manage the situation.

“Distractions like Kennedy McManus, PR princess, were the last thing I needed, but her scent was living in my head.”

Kennedy or Kenny, like Hunter calls her, doesn’t get naked with her clients, but their attraction is just too hot to pass up. They decide to give in to their temptation, but Kennedy only wants a fling; a one-night stand, and Hunter…wants more.

The book had a few humorous moments and is angst free, which was a plus to me. Had this book been a standalone, I would have rated it higher. I really didn’t see the need for this book to be broken up in two parts, but that’s just me. I am not a fan of rock stars, I actually pass over books with a rock as the hero, but Hunter was a surprise. He was entertaining, flirty, and not your average man-whore. Overall, it was a good read.

If you enjoy romantic comedies about hot rock stars or if you are a fan of insta-love, you should check out Manaconda.

My name is Hunter Jordan, lead singer of Hammered and no, I didn’t name my cock Manaconda.
Rolling Stone did.
On the front cover of their damn magazine.
I still haven’t lived it down. And now our record label wants to maximize the frenzy.
So, I have a brand new PR person–Kennedy McManus.
And she’s making me insane.
I don’t know whether to ignore her, yell at her, or push her up against the wall and kiss her smart mouth shut
