Midwife…to Mum! by Sue MacKay is the fifth book in Midwives On-Call series.Ally Parker Midwife...to-Mum-Midwives-On-Call-5does not have any roots or any family to back on.A former foster kid, she’s used to moving on. Her new job is meant to be just another temporary placement…until she meets her boss, sexy single dad Dr. Flynn Reynolds!

It might have started as a fling, but soon Flynn and his adorable son have Ally longing to stick around…

Can Flynn persuade Ally that she’s finally found her forever family?

Midwife…to Mum!  by Sue MacKay was a well written medical romance set in a beautiful location with interesting and sufficient medical details.

Flynn is a caring, loving single dad and a widower who loved his late wife profoundly. Ally has never known any kind of stability in her life. She was abandoned at birth and as a foster kid and therefore she is used to moving place to place without any serious attachment. She longs for a family and Flynn shows her a way how she can have one.

Their romance starts out as a fling but slowly develops into something more serious. It takes some time for Ally to let go of her fears and Flynn to start loving again but in the end its all worth it. Ally’s growth in this fast paced romance was the best part according to me. I loved how she overcame her insecurities and finally understood that she too deserves a chance to be loved in return.
