In On The Fly by Katie Kenyhercz  Jacey Vaughn has just lost her father, and inherited his Vegas hockey team. She will have a hard time getting used to the rules and restrictions that everyone will be placing in front of her as the new team owner. Being a female does not help her at all since the NHL is used to having males as owners.

OTFCarter Phlynn is trying to win the Stanley Cup, but he knows that with his current team it’s not going to be easy. Now as he faces the new team owner, who he expected to be a male, to negotiate his contract renewal or moving on to a better paying team he is faced with a face he doesn’t think he can deny anything. He may have been able to deny her father’s offer, but he won’t be able to turn her down that easily.

As Jacey learns the ropes of hockey rules, propriety and everything involved in owning a team in a limited amount of time, she will also have to fill the role of owner and GM with a little help from Carter. But things will not go as smoothly, for in hockey you don’t call a player by first name, and her use of it will bring scandal to her team’s doorstep.

If Jacey does not stop the continuous gossip running about her and Carter, she will loose more audience and attendance, something she cannot afford if she wants the team to see another year. But love does not play by the rules, and the love that has developed between Carter and her is not easily denied. And Carter will not be easily persuaded to stay away from her, when everything he has been doing has not only been for his team to win the Stanley Cup, but also for himself and making the woman he loves smile.

Jacey will have to face one of the toughest decisions yet, sell the team and be free to be with Carter or forget about him even if it mean that she will be miserable for the rest of her life.

On The Fly is a fun and sexy romance about new hockey team owner Jacey and her team captain Carter falling in love against every rule and everyone.
