Rock Me Two Times by Dawn Ryder: One of the premier leather stylists, Kate needs just a little boost to get her small custom-leather shop the publicity it deserves. When the opportunity comes to work with Toxsin, one of the hottest bands around, Kate can’t say no, even as she wants to avoid the captivating lead singer Syon.
Syon can’t keep his hands off Kate. He knows he needs to have her and once she’s on tour with him as the band’s leather stylist he’ll do whatever he can to get her in his bed.
“I tried to stay away because every time I get near you, all I want to do is lick you.” He threw his arms in the air. “You want me to do it too.”
She had her mouth open to fire off a retort, but it died when he locked gazes with her. The world shifted again the second her eyes connected with is caramel ones. She did want him. Bad.
Although passion in bed explodes between the two, it’s the deeper connection between them that keeps them coming back for more and unable to stay away even as it terrifies them.
The best descriptor for Rock Me Two Times is sex. Sex makes up 99% of the time Kate and Syon have together and 90% of the story. While definitely hot and passionate, it was a bit much for me. Especially because I really liked the story outside the sex.
Outside the bedroom, and without using the usual rocker tropes, there was some cool intrigue with their manager, and I would have loved to have read more on the character development of the characters. Instead, I got a lot of, eventually very repetitive, sex and them saying their intense sex and emotion was scary.
I can’t say I particularly cared for either Kate or Syon. Syon, especially, was weirdly intense about everything. And Kate was a mess of confusion for the first half of the novel which is never fun to read. What I did enjoy was the relations outside the couple. The whole band as a group was adorable, and Kate’s shop along with her partner were awesome. I just wish I could’ve seen more of it.
If you love a super sexy and hot rocker novel, with the emphasis on sex, I highly recommend Rock Me Two Times by Dawn Ryder.

A partnership with the hottest new rock band, Toxsin, is a major opportunity for Kate’s small custom leather shop, but she’s determined to resist her burning attraction to the lead guitarist, Syon Braden. Sex is a commodity in his world, and that’s just not enough for her. Or so she thought.
With the multiplatinum success of his band, Syon thought he had everything he’d ever wanted…and then he met Kate. He knows that sleeping with her could distract him from his music and even interfere with his close bandmate friendships, but despite all this, Syon just can’t seem to keep his mind—or hands—off of her…

Thanks for the review, Olivia. I can honestly say I’ve never read a book with the heroine is a ‘leather stylist.’ LOL I’ll pass for now.

She definitely has an interesting career. That was probably my favorite part because of its originality, and I’m really just curious whether it’s actually a thing.
