sinnerscreedSinner’s Creed (Sinner’s Creed MC #1) by Kim Jones is the amazing first book in the Sinner’s Creed MC. This story has it all, hot bikers, angst, hardship and love. This is the story if Dirk and Saylor.

Dirk is a shadow, he is a nomad, the man that you call when you need someone to take care of business. He is use to being on his own. He expects to never have entanglements, love em and leave em is his motto. But there is something about Saylor Samson that will not allow him to rest. She is the woman who never leaves his mind, she is the woman who makes him want to be a better man.

Through the years, whenever Saylor needed him, Dirk was always there. She never knew his name, but that does not stop her from wanting him. When they finally get together, Saylor knows that there is no place that she would rather be but with Dirk. Things start out ok for the two, but Saylor is keeping a secret that will blow the lid off the life that Dirk and Saylor are just beginning to build.

What I love about Dirk is that he will stand by Saylor no matter what. He will do anything for her. Anything to keep her safe, anything to make her happy, anything to keep her with him. Yes, he is a hard ass, he is a killer, but with Saylor, is a different man.

Saylor is such a strong character. She has gone through so much in her life and she does not allow it to keep her down. Even in her darkest days, she still keeps a positive attitude and tries to make things better for everyone else.

I really look forward to more in thie series because I feel invested in these characters and have added this author as one to follow.

05S March 1st 2016 | Berkley | Sinner’s Creed MC #1

First in a new series—welcome to the Sinner’s Creed Motorcycle Club, where hard bodies and hot leather are made for each other, and love gone wrong is the most irresistible of all…

“I was the demon-possessed monster and she was the innocent, naïve angel. But none of that matters. She asks, I give and right now, I’ll kill anyone who tries to stop me from giving this woman what she wants—me.”

Dirk lives in the shadows—performing hits, maintaining order, and upholding the no-holds-barred legacy of the Sinner’s Creed Motorcycle Club. A nomad with a restless spirit and a cold heart, the open road is his world. One of the few constants in his life: his desire for the one woman who has consumed his thoughts for years.

Saylor Samson grew up far from the harshness of Dirk’s world. But ever since she was seventeen she’s been drawn to this dark and mysterious man who always seemed to show up just when she needed him.

After years of fated encounters, he’s back. This time he’s taking her. This time she’s ready for the ride. But just when the darkness in Dirk’s life begins to fade, Saylor reveals a secret that puts them both to the ultimate test. Now, Dirk has to make a decision: submit to his destiny with the MC, or choose his own.

Good review Jen. There is a lot of controversy surrounding this book and how it is being marketed. My personal opinion is that this is not a romance (as the term is generally understood) and I’m not going to put any spoilers here. But I feel that this would have been better marketed as fiction with romantic elements, and not romance. I’m sure it’s a good story, but I don’t plan to read it – I like my traditional happy endings. It’s why I read romance.

I agree with Maria Rose. I’ve read a couple of explicit spoilers. I want a more tangible HEA or even HFN.

Thank you for sharing your opinions Maria and Nikkiphilton. Yes, while this is not a traditional HEA, it is still a story about finding love, holding on to it no matter the cost. In the end, Dirk and Saylor get their HEA, although not traditional, it is forever.
