In So Twisted by Melissa Marino, a single dad and the nanny he hires So-Twistedfor his daughter, fight their explosive chemistry toward each other for as long as they can.

Callie is a hard worker. She’s going to school and working as a bartender. Her roommate is worried about her, so she takes it upon herself to send Callie’s resume to Aaron, who is looking for a live-in nanny. When Callie lands an interview with Aaron, two things are clear. The first being that this is a wonderful opportunity that pays very well. The second being that she is deeply attracted to Aaron and almost decides to refuse the job.

“He was playing dirty. Real dirty. Not only was he attractive, but he was also smart, successful, and a Nutella buyer. Was there no end to his perfection?”

Aaron needs a nanny for his four-year daughter, Delilah. Out of all the resumes he’s looked at, Callie is the most qualified, but as soon as he meets Callie, it’s obvious that there are sparks between them. Aaron has closed himself off from anybody but his daughter for the past few years. He’s carrying baggage from his ex-wife and decides to keep things completely professional between him and Callie.

Keeping things professional sounds all well and good, but when the heat is that hot between Callie and Aaron, it’s only a matter of time before they give it to their attraction…and when they do, it’s explosive!

For Aaron and Callie, their feelings for each other become stronger at a really fast rate, leaving Callie feeling freaked out. Callie has some insecurities about her relationship with Aaron and indirectly ends up hiding some things. When Aaron finds out will he act rationally or will he end their relationship and fire the nanny?

The connection between Aaron and Callie is very strong, but so is the relationship between Callie and Delilah. I really enjoyed how much Callie cared for Delilah and vice versa. I loved how the author incorporated the secondary characters into the story, which only added to storyline and made me want to read more books by this author. For those readers who read or used to read fanfiction, a version of this story started there, but this version is the real deal. So Twisted is going on my favorite list for 2016, making this debut novel by Melissa Marino a clear winner!

Sometimes it feels good to be a little bad.

Callie has found the perfect job. As nanny for a single dad and his adorable daughter, she can pay off her student loans and live in a nice house in the heart of Chicago. There’s just one problem-her new boss. Definitely no dad bod here. Just six-plus feet of raw, sexual energy. Whoever heard of a dad being so hot?

From the sparkle in his daughter’s eyes, Aaron can see that hiring Callie was a good decision. But Callie’s breathtaking smile and long legs have him thinking about his own needs. Aaron knows it’s a bad idea to get involved with the nanny, but it’s been years since anyone has captivated him like Callie.

When living under the same roof proves too tempting to resist, Callie and Aaron discover a mind-blowing passion unlike anything either has experienced. But with a curious child and a nosy family in the mix, their secret, no-strings fling soon turns into a twisted, tangled knot . . .
