Terms and Conditions by Lauren Asher: As the eldest Kane brother Declan is used to having to clean up the messes made by his two younger brothers, after all he is the reliable, level headed one, all groomed and ready to take up his place as head of the Kane empire… but with his grandfathers dead comes a spanner in the works when dear ole granddad leaves a stipulation in his will; in order for Declan to inherit his spot as head of the empire he needs to get married and produce an heir or lose everything!

The last person Declan expected to end up marrying was his assistant Iris, but put in this position Declan would be a fool to turn her proposal down. After all what more could he ask for seeing as both of them would be going in with their eyes wide open to the fact this is clearly a marriage on paper only…right?

After reading The Fine Print I was super eager to get my hands on the next Kane brothers book and let me tell you these Kane men keep stealing my heart! Not only did TERMS AND CONDITIONS deliver an amazing fake dating/marriage trope but it also worked in the office romance trope to perfection. This book was the perfect next step in the Dreamland Billionaire series, It got me more invested in these characters and their journey to figuring out their grandfathers masterplan for each of them.

“I could spend the rest of forever with you and it still wouldn’t be enough time to finish everything I have planned for us.”

If you like a grumpy hero then Declan is the man for you! I just loved getting to see this closed off, buttoned up, stern face business man melting as Iris worms her way into his closed of heart. For all his grumpiness Declan really was a sweetheart that just wanted to fix everything and help make life easier for his brothers, even if he didn’t quite know how to show it. I loved getting to see more of the brotherly relationship between Declan, Rowan and Cal. If anything I loved the fact that Declan winded up falling for his brothers best friend! Getting to see Declan grown in this book really made my heart melt. The bits with Declan, Cal and Iris were just brilliant! Now for our girl Iris, well it was pretty easy to like her character, especially when she punched Declan’s father in the face only to wind up breaking her own hand! She was just the dose of happiness that Declan needed and helped balance him out into a better guy. One of the things I really liked about Iris was that she was wise beyond her age, as we get to know her past we get to better understand her and how she has come to be so strong and wise, and this really only made me like her all the more. Also I just loved the bond that she had with Cal, these two were just a hoot to read!

“I want to leave this world before you because I can’t imagine having to go through a single day without you.”

As much as I liked these two characters on their own, it was when they were together that they really shone. I loved the way they played of each other and that they really just brought out the very best in each other. I absolutely loved getting to see Declan put in the work to prove to Iris that his feelings are real and that he is worth making their marriage real, talk about a total swoon fest. Simply put this couple was just adorable, with their secret foreign language love words it was impossible not to root them on.

Terms And Conditions was a total treat to read, this book is definitely one to check out! Now I can not wait to get my hands on Cal and Alana’s story next!

Declan
I’m destined to become the next CEO of my family’s media empire.
The only problem? My grandfather’s inheritance clause.
Fulfilling his dying wish of getting married and having an heir seemed impossible until my assistant volunteers for the job.
Our marriage was supposed to be the perfect solution to my biggest problem.
But the more we act in love for the public, the more unsure I feel about our contract.
Caring about Iris was never part of the deal.
Especially not when breaking her heart is inevitable.

Iris
My plan to marry Declan was simple in theory.
Move in together. Throw a wedding. Have a baby.
We set rules to prevent any kind of issues.
Ones that were never meant to be broken, no matter how much Declan tempts me.
But what happens when our fake relationship bleeds into our real one?
Falling in love was never an option.
At least not for me.
