184679861Irene can’t refuse the huge amount of money Sharif offers her for the job of a chaperone to his sister. The money would be able to safeguard her family. She may be innocent but she knows the trail of destruction playboys like Sharif leave behind, and will resist his skilled seduction….

Sharif’s engagement hasn’t yet been announced and he’ll enjoy his freedom until then. Starting with the beguiling Irene—she’s the ideal final challenge before he embarks on a life of duty.

The Sheikh’s Last Seduction by Jennie Lucas is a well written and enjoyable romance. It is difficult to put together a harlequin presents story without any graphic sex scene but Jennie Lucas manages to pull it off quite beautifully .The entertaining dialogues and superb chemistry between the characters managed to keep me hooked till the end.

Sharif starts out as an arrogant hero who is too much confident of his charming persona but after Irene’s rejection he mellows down and transforms into a really nice guy. I liked him in the end because he respected Irene’s wishes when she said “No” and overall he is really sweet. Irene believes in true love and is waiting for “The One”. She is saving her virginity for her marriage and does not believe in physical relationships where emotions are not involved. The romance is a little different from the author’s usual work because there is very little angst and no solid conflict.

Overall,The Sheikh’s Last Seduction by Jennie Lucas is a well written romance which is different from the author’s past books but in a good way. If you like virginal heroines and sweet heroes then this the book for you.

This is a “must” buy for me, especially a read that is through and through all story without the usual “filler” of sex. Let’s leave the explicit sex for the actual genre where it is expected.
