Until the Sun Sets by Tara Wyatt: Dean Grayson is a bit of a manwhore. Enough of one his cousin requested Dean bring a date to his wedding to keep him from sleeping with the bridesmaids. Even though he’s a bit disturbed that this is what his family thinks of him, Dean goes along with it and brings his friend and employee as his date.

Carly has had a crush on Dean ever since she started. Who wouldn’t? But she knows they can never be anything more than friends, not if she wants him in her life and them working together. But when Carly’s ex turns up at the wedding, Dean and Carly end up faking a relationship.

What starts as fake becomes real soon enough. At least for the week. But what happens at the end of the week when it’s supposed to be over, but Carly knows they’re so much more?

Dean’s mouth brushed against her neck, sending a delicious shiver down her spine. “Let’s give them something to watch, since they seem to be expecting a show.”
“What?” The word came out high and breathless, and it was her last coherent thought before his hands settled on her hips, and he trailed hot, gentle kisses from the base of her neck up toward her ear.

Short, sweet, and sexy. Until the Sun Sets is a good friends to lovers romance. The tension remains high, and I quite liked both Carly and Dean. With a novella, there isn’t time for a whole lot of development, but their base friendship was set up well and, while a week is a bit quick to fall in love, I do believe in this couple.

Given the shortness of the story, I think the author did a good job of keeping the focus on the couple, and I really would’ve loved to have had a chance to see more of them. I haven’t read the others in this series, but now I definitely want to. For those who love a friends to lover’s romance, I recommend Until the Sun Sets.
