Expose Me by Kate Hewitt: It was time for Alex Diaz to play his part and bring Jason Treffen down for good. His target was Chelsea Maxwell, who was scheduled to interview Treffen on her “Chat with Chelsea” show in a couple of months. If he could somehow get her to expose him on air they’d be home free. He’d be done for. He just had to convince her beyond a shadow of a doubt that the allegations were Exp2true.

Chelsea was done with men like Alex Diaz. D-O-N-E. She was where she wanted to be, and if people talked behind her back then screw them. She knew that she’d gotten her talk show legitimately and that’s all that mattered. It’s not like she didn’t deserve all the insinuation, she’d gotten jobs on her back before, just not this one. And never any actual success. She learned her lessons the hard way, and Alex Diaz was nothing but trouble.

“You don’t strike me as the type to try hard at all,” Chelsea answered flippantly. “I’m sure you expect women to fall at your feet.”
He arched an eyebrow, clearly amused. “They’re not much use to me there.”

This whole Treffen thing though, Chelsea couldn’t turn a blind eye to it. At first she couldn’t fathom the man who had always been a champion for women’s rights could have done things so utterly heinous. But the more she heard from Alex, the more she saw in Treffen. And in the meantime, Alex was pushing her boundaries further than ever.

Now he just had to get her over the top. Alex had to get something tangible so Chelsea so there would be no doubt what kind of man he was. But everything was so difficult. Exposing Sarah meant exposing his own failure to save her, Zoe was still reluctant to come forward in public, Katy’s evidence was hearsay, things were looking desperate. Desperate being their watchword.

Could they do this? Alex had to stay close to Chelsea in order to persuade her, and their attraction was making that ultra-difficult. Especially when neither one of them wanted to relinquish control. They both had carefully constructed facades and the danger of them cracking while around each other was incredibly high.

Pasts, presents, and futures were all coming together in a rush to seal the deal one way or another. Not only was Jason Treffen’s comeuppance at stake, but so was Alex and Chelsea’s relationship. Could they win one battle and survive to fight for the other?

Oh man! This series is simply amazeballs. I think I fell in love with each and every hero, and felt like I had things in common with each and every heroine. That’s a rare thing. The Treffen storyline is woven throughout the four books (counting the prequel) seamlessly, and all of the characters are used as background players in the books in which they aren’t featured.

The storytelling is stellar, and I could really tell that these authors worked together to make this trilogy mesh. Brilliant ladies. Intrigue, Sex, Deep Issues, really – it has everything. Okay, maybe not. I want a book for Zair and a book for Louise – and an epilogue for the entire story wouldn’t go amiss. But if this is all I get – I’m a happy camper.
