Married by Sunday by Sarah Ready: All Izzy wanted was a sign from the universe that she shouldn’t give up hope, however she definitely did not expect this sign to come in the form of grouchy stuck up suit Nathaniel. If anything their first meeting was hate at first sight well from Nate’s side that is, but with nothing to lose Izzy is determined to help this grouch win back his girlfriend. Soon the two find themselves on a slew of misadventures on their journey too Romeo, New York. But somewhere between all of Izzy’s crazy lessons on romance, a soulmate seer and a seductive Italian, both Izzy and Nate are left questioning their original plans…

Married By Sunday is simply a must read, this book packs a solid punch that will leave you feeling emotional, sentimental and down right warm and fuzzy. Right from the cute and colourful cover this book had me intrigued, this only grew the more as I read Izzy and Nate’s story. I will be honest this book did not go the way I had expected and I just loved that!

Izzy was just amazing, I loved her sunshine happy vibes personality and that she was always willing to make the best out of a bad situation. She added so much of life and fun to this book and gosh did she have me cracking up with her hilarious fake engagement scheme. In actual fact she was the biggest mystery in this story, even though there are a number of hints throughout the book as to why Izzy is in such a bad spot we don’t really find out her story until the very last few chapters and good gosh let me just say my heart just broke!

As far as polar opposites go Nate and Izzy would be a prime example of this. The banter between these two was so on point, be it them arguing on the train to them having a romantic midnight boat ride I just loved the way they played of each other. I loved getting to see Nate going from exasperated by Izzy’s behaviour to being completely enamoured by her. I just loved getting to unwrap Nate’s character and getting to see him really open his eyes and start living all thanks to this crazy weekend.

As amazing as the entire body of this book was, it was the twist at the end that made this a total must read for me. I just loved the twist that Ready added to what was looking to be a pretty straight forward meet cute read. Now normally the whole separation for a while thing in a romance doesn’t work for me but this time it just played out perfectly, especially with Erma bring them back together.

Married By Sunday was a brilliantly written romance that I would highly recommend reading. This book had the perfect combination of cute enemies to lovers goodness and a heart melting second chance romance that will have you fighting back a few tears as these two find their happily ever after.

Opposites clash in this wild, unpredictable rom com, where two strangers team up to stop a wedding at all costs.

Nathaniel Barry is monochromatic, meticulous, and uptight. Izzy Harris is wild, unpredictable, and free-spirited. Nathaniel has a trendy apartment, a successful career, and a girlfriend he’s about to propose to. Izzy has no home, no career, and nobody special to hold her down.

They’re polar-opposites in every way.

So when they sit next to each other on the train to Romeo, New York they clash from the very start. Naturally, Nathaniel decides he wants nothing to do with Izzy. And Izzy…well, she has a different opinion.

No matter how much Nathaniel protests, Izzy knows it was fate that brought them together. Nathaniel’s girlfriend just ran off to marry another man, and Izzy swears she’ll help Nathaniel win her back. They have three days to stop the ill-advised wedding. It should be easy. It should be simple. But when two polar opposites team-up to stop a wedding, there’s only one guarantee – that nothing will go as planned.
