REVIEW: Runaway Groom by Sally Clements

Runaway Groom by Sally Clements was a very cute and sweet romance. The idea of a April dating her sister June’s RGrunaway groom was definitely a little awkward, and I wasn’t sure how much I would enjoy this type of story. But I really got quite a bit of enjoyment out of this book.

April and Matthew definitely had their differences but getting to see them as the reader develop such a close bond was beautiful and touching. The only problem I had with this book was that June’s runaway groom’s name was Matthew and her new Fiancé’s name was Michael. For me, these names were too similar, and I kept getting these two men mixed up. Which just made the story not read as smoothly as I would have liked.

Other than that one slight problem, I was very pleased by my first Sally Clements book and I’d definitely love the chance to read more by this author. This story just seemed to fly by, and left me with an overall happy and warm feeling. Which is always a great way for a story to end.

If you are a reader who enjoys a shorter romance with a touch of New Adult themes and a sweet side, then I would fully recommend that you check out Ms. Clements “Runaway Groom”
