In The Heartbreaker Prince by Kim Lawrence, beautiful socialite Hanna Latimer is captured by an oppressive regime when she ends up at the wrong side of the border while THBPworking as an aid worker. Her only means of escape is powerful and arrogant Prince Kamel of Surana but the price of her freedom means a marrying the mysterious prince.

Kamel has nothing but contempt for the woman he is forced to take up as a bride to prevent a war with the neighboring country. Their loveless union has nothing much to offer but as Kamel begins to unravel the many layers of his new bride, he finds out that Hannah is much more than the ice cold and spoilt socialite and the passion they both feel for each other is enough to last till a lifetime.

The Heartbreaker Prince by Kim Lawrence is a well written marriage of convenience (MOC) romance with an eventful start leading to the MOC. Kamel and Hannah shared an amazing chemistry and it was easy to relate to their whirlwind wedding and the subsequent romance. Kamel is an honorable hero and is easy to like but there were many times I felt disconnected with him. Hannah is a sweet heroine and is also easy to like. A little more past background could have helped in increasing my understanding of the characters. The story is medium pace and is engrossing enough to enjoy the same.

Overall, The Heartbreaker Prince by Kim Lawrence is a well written MOC romance which will not disappoint the fans of this trope.
