REVIEW: The Italian’s Bride worth Billions by Lynne Graham

Posted January 3rd, 2023 by in Blog, Harlequin Mills&Boon, Presents, Review / 6 comments

The Italian’s Bride worth Billions is Lynne Graham’s new release and I thought it was a very good comeback to what I loved about her stories; the angst, the love, the conflict and the quirky side characters.

JoJo and Gianni go way back. Childhood neighbours. Jo’s manor is falling apart and the bank won’t lend her any more money. Gianni is her only hope. Gianni, outwardly, gives off the vibe he couldn’t really care less; he knows he can buy the home on the cheap in the future but Jo’s request for help makes him realise he could be looking at the answer to his problems too. Agreeing to a marriage of convenience is fine at first until Jo’s feelings for Gianni resurface and together they battle through Gianni’s tantrums, funny family members and secrets of the past.

So many loved Lynne Graham vibes throughout this story. I loved Jo and loved Gianni’s nickname for her “Jojo”, it created their closeness from day 1. There was lots of interesting paths that intercepted off the main route and I adored Jo’s Aunts.

Recommended to anyone who loves a laugh, interesting characters and Lynne Graham vibes.

Innocent Jo was always there for Gianni. That doesn’t mean she’s in any way prepared for his proposal. Yet to save her family from bankruptcy, she must say yes! But when life as Mrs. Renzetti feels passionately real, can she trust herself to remember their vows were just for show?

I haven’t read any Lynne Graham books lately. Thanks for the review.

I haven’t finished reading a new HP in 8-9 years. Last one I recall enjoying was Doukakis’s Apprentice by Sarah Morgan…that was ’11! So I’ve stuck to the oldies.

Lynne Graham was always great, dependable fluff, but she went off the rails with her two-parter where the hero cheated and impregnated the OW. Glad to hear she’s back in form, I need something new to read!

Haven’t liked a “modern” HP since Doukakis’s Apprentice by Sarah Morgan. So it’s been nothing but retro reads for me for almost 10 years. I need somethind new!

Glad to hear Lynne Graham is back to her old form; she went off the rails with that two-parter where the hero impregnated the OW. When she is at her top form, she is one of the best. Sure it’s fluff, but it’s fun fluff!
