In The Last Doctor She Should Ever Date by Louisa George, Daniella Danatello has been hiding from the media and the public eye since one of her rebellions and dares was turned into the biggest  media scandal. She was humiliated by her mistake, one that no one in the media has put behind no matter how much good she is doing now, she is no longer that young woman. As the daughter of a rugby team owner she knows that she couldn’t stay out of the limelight for long, but she had hoped that the reporters would leave the past alone.

TLDSEZac Price is the new doctor for the rugby team. This is his dream come true and after this he can further his career to be where he always dreamed to be. When he first saw Dani on the way to the doors leading to the ball being harassed by the reporters and seeing the panic in her eyes, he knew he had to help her. The fact that she is a dream in the silver dress is something that cannot be overlooked either. So he decides to help her get past the reporters and into the ball, without knowing the surprise that lies ahead.

As the new physiotherapist for the team Dani will be working very closely with Zac; A torture that will increase each and every day, given the team policy that not even management can have sex until the final game is played. Its safe to say this no-sex rule only serves to entice them into breaking the rules.

Dani does not trust anyone easily, she has been used in each and every way possible by other people trying to get close to her father and by her family too. So when Zac is trying to get close to her, she will put every barrier possible. Even if she knows that she will not be able to deny her attraction for long, she will do her best to hide it from Zac.

As Zac and Dani spend more time together they get to know each other professionally and personally. Zac will learn everything that Dani has been through and every instinct will make him want to protect her from more pain, but he knows that the first thing he must do is make sure that she understands that anything between them will only be temporary, because he cannot make any commitments to anyone. He cannot risk that again.

Dani and Zac have many things that they are running away and hiding from. But if they want to have any future together, they will have to learn to accept the past and learn from it first before they see a brighter future.

Dani is a sweet character that will make you want to go and hurt those who have hurt her. Being in the limelight is not easy for many. Zac was also born into a rich family, but his distance from them was more about them trying to mold him into something he was not.

The Last Doctor She Should Ever Date is a sweet, fun yet deeply moving romance. This book just begs to be read and I would definitely recommend this book and any other ones written by Louisa George to all contemporary romance fans.
