Christmas Nights with the Polo Player by Susan Stephens:  Gabe Ortoya owns the nightclub where Lucy Lavender works to pay off her vet school fees. After weeks of playing a cat and mouse game with Gabe chasing her and Lucy avoiding his advances, a common party invitation to the CNwTPPAcosta’s Christmas Party makes their story finally go forward and after a devastating Christmas kiss under the mistletoe, Lucy finds it increasingly hard not to surrender to the temptation that is Gabe Ortoya… Especially when sinfully delicious Gabe seems to have made it his Christmas mission to get Lucy into his bed!

This was a really cute story with a wonderful Christmas romance between two really adorable characters. Although it was a novella it appeared to be so complete and rightly fitted in a few pages.

The story takes you back to the world of Acosta’s and both the characters have some connection with them. Lucy is the best friend of Holly Acosta while Gabe happens to be one of the Acosta’s cousins. Their love story moves forward when they both are invited to the Ascosta’s Christmas party. So you see the Ascosta family is one of the most important parts of the novel but if you have no idea about them, you can still understand the story so it can be read as a stand alone.

Susan Stephans gives you the perfect Christmas read this winter with Christmas Nights with the Polo Player and its quite difficult not to like such a cute christmassy romance.
